Who am I
Long time experimentalist & nature lover.
When I’m working on creating, time seems non-existent. It does not matter anymore. I exist only in that moment, making beautifull things. I get this feeling when I just know the end result is going to be amazing. Every piece is like one of these moments, captured on canvas.
My paintings
Inspired by places that make me feel alive
Most of my paintings represent an element of nature. Water, stone, fire, trees, all are equally beautifull to me and I want to honor them in my work. It are these places and elements that I find most beautifull and bring me peace of mind.
My works are made with aqrylic paint on canvas for their strength and versatility. The texture is made with rock dust. This gives them an extra realistic element and natural feel.
Frames
Adding a frame makes a huge difference in its presence in the space. My advise is to pick a frame with contrasting colors to the piece. This makes the piece stand out in the room. A sunken frame with a bit of space around the piece gives it space to ‘breathe’.
I make my own frames but am not a professional. I want to provide you with a complete product experience and learn on the go. The frames are custom for each piece out of solid wood and polished with a shiny black or white varnish.
Hanging
Most of my pieces come unframed. I often paint the sides of my pieces after its done for completion, and so that hanging it without a frame is no problem.
Your piece will arrive ready to hang on the wall. A hanging wire or hooks will be placed on the back.
